Casting and fishing instructors Ian and Shelley go the extra mile to ensure that you have a great fishing experience at Bessy Beck where the lakes are very well stocked with top quality hard fighting Trout some of which are massive and well into double figures! In our opinion the Fishery is one of the best in the North West and is suitable for all levels of experience and a day there is a must trout fishing near me.

One of the best days I have ever had

15 trout total 12 coming to the midge the rest to a size 16 beetle, this was one of the best days I have ever had on the dry, and one I hope I never forget. Another great day at Bessy Beck, I can’t wait till I get back.

Amazing fishing at Bessy Beck

Amazing fishing at Bessy Beck including 3 doubles and two double hook ups with both fish landed!!! 24 fish to the net and many lost and snapped twice!! This place is on fire at the moment
