Good fishing at Bessy Beck

Fly fishermen are having some of the best catches at Bessy Beck for a number of years. With the cold weather behind us, trout are feeding and large catches are being made on a veriety of flies.

Extreme weather makes fishing difficult.

Nine anglers took part in the Troutmasters fish off on Saturday. 46 fish were caught, Tom Clayton winning with 13 fish.
