Bessy Beck Farm Shop

The Farm Shop at Bessy Beck, although small holds many delights.  Centre stage is, of course  taken up with our fresh rainbow trout, reared in our own fish farm, these tasty trout carry zero food miles. 

You will find all the home smoked produce which we caringly smoke in our own smokehouse.

Bessy Beck Trout fillets are gently smoked over various different woods; Oak, Hickory, Maple, Apple, or Alder.  These gently flavoured fillets are carefully prepared to give you a hot smoked product which is ready to eat and enjoy either hot or cold.

In the chilled fridge you will find our famous Smoked Trout Pate, this is made from our smoked trout and is a true delight, addictive and good for you. We have three types of Pate; Lemon, Lime and Ginger and Orange.

Almost as famous as our Smoked Trout Pate, we also offer our very special Trout Cakes, these are all made by hand at Bessy Beck with our own Smoked Trout. You really should try these to see just how good they are. 

From our Smokehouse you can excite your taste buds with Hickory Smoked Chicken breast, Oak Smoked Salmon, Cherry Smoked Duck breast and Oak Smoked Pheasant breast.  Again hot smoked so that you can eat them hot or cold.   

In the freezers you will find local produce from around our area, Venison from Deer n Dexter, and Beef and Lamb from Ravenstonedale. 

On the shelves you will find; Salad dressings from Wildon Grange, Jams and Chutneys from Just Williams, Cakes from Country Harvest and Country Fare, Homemade Fudge from Loopy Lisa, Fruttacotta from Lizzies Homemade, Icecream from English Lakes icecream, and much more.....
