Christmas markets are already underway.  The Dickensian Festival at Ulverston is on 24th and 25th November.

2010 Cumbria Fishing Festival

A week-long 'Fishing Festival' in the Lake District. www.cumbriafishingfestival.co.uk

 

The Opening Event was at Bessy Beck Trout Fishery on Saturday the May 15th 2010

Beginners fly fishing  and bait fishing Instruction was provided by the Environment Agency. Jeremy Lucas, Stuart Broadhurst, Vera and Bob Carlson instructed in the finer points of fly fishing.
