Angling Report - June 2007
Mid June 2007
With lake temperatures now at an ideal 12'C and with abundent fly life, fish can be seen taking flies almost continually from early morning until dark. During quieter spells buzzers have been very effective. Green, Claret and Black Buzzers have all been successful.
Large numbers of fish are now being caught. Last weekend David Ashburn caught 17 on buzzers, the largest being 6lb 12oz.
The largest fish of the month was a beautiful 7lb 4oz fish caught by Steve Fisher on a small lure.
