Angling Report - July 2010
The month has started with near drought conditions, water is being circulated to maintain the lake levels, there is a general lack of fly life on the water and the fish unpredictable in their feeding spells.
6th July; Arnold Patfield caught 15 fish in an afternoon session using a Black Buzzer.
9th July; Local angler Callum Highet fished a Damsel to catch 13 fish.
The rains have come and the lakes are now full of water, any remaining blanket weed has been removed and the fishery is in fine order.
14th July; Robert Camoron from Carlisle fished buzzer to catch 13 fish to 6lb. The same day Peter Fletcher from Teeside, trying the fishery for the first time, caught 11 fish on buzzer.
