Angling Report - February 2012
February had begun with hard frosts, on the 1st. Tom Clayton fished hard for seven fish the largest was 12lbs.
Over the next few days temperatures dropped even lower to -8 C, most of the Island Lake was frozen over with only enough room for 3 anglers.
On the 4th, with snow and rain the ice receded slightly and a number of fish were caught. Mr Trow and Hoggarth from Kendal caught 13 fish each on bloodworm.
