Island Lake

Fly fishing only

The only lake where catch and release is an option. All juniors must be accompanied by an adult. Only barbless or de barbed hooks can be used. Fish over 10lb must be returned.

8hrs - keep first 3 trout, then catch and release (Add £3.00 for all day)	£28.00
4hrs - keep first 2 trout then catch and release	£20.00
8hrs - sporting(no fish) Add £3.00 for all day	£18.00
4hrs - sporting(no fish)	£12.00
Evening 6pm to 9.30pm - keep first trout then catch and release	£14.00
Fly rod hire - up to 8hrs	£10.00

Mallard Lake

Fly fishing only

No catch and release. All fish must be killed. All juniors must be accompanied by an adult. Barbless hooks must be used. Extra fish must be kept and paid for at the current rate.

8hrs - 3 trout	£20.00
4hrs - 2 trout	£14.00

Heron Lake

Bait fishing and spinning (No fly fishing allowed)

All persons must pay an entry fee whether fishing or not, juniors must be accompanied by an adult.

No catch and release. All fish must be killed, kept and paid for at the going rate. 

Only barbless hooks can be used.

4hr - Entry fee per person	£3.50
4hr - Float rod hire	£3.50

Note: All anglers fishing at Bessy Beck must hold a current Environment Agency rod licence.

Children under 12 years old do not require a licence.
